The Anomalocaris is a hostile prey in Hungry Shark Primal.
Description[]
Anomalocaris spawns in the Jungle Biome, scattered randomly across the map swimming underwater. It may spawn in large groups or alone. If an Anomalocaris sees the shark, it will latch onto it and start dealing damage, and stay on until a few seconds have passed. It is very difficult to get rid of an Anomalocaris latching onto the shark as it does not let go of the shark even if you boost, unlike the Seal Pup from Hungry Shark Evolution. They can spawn in large groups which are rather dangerous. Rhizodus may be useful as it can dodge the Anomalocaris' attacks with its speed and takes less damage if its ability is unlocked, while Creto's stunning ability may help disable the Anomalocaris from attacking, and Dunk has a large amount of health that allows it to take multiple Anomalocaris attacks easily, not to mention its ability to damage anything that bites it.
It can spawn with other enemies like Cobelodus and Materpiscis.
Trivia[]
- Formerly, the Anomalocaris was far more dangerous, as it dealt a lot of damage to the player. It has since been nerfed and is not as dangerous as it used to be.
- Opabinia has similar behavior.
- It is similar to the Seal Pup and Anglerfish from Hungry Shark Evolution, as all three enemies latch onto the shark to deal damage.
