Rising from contaminated waters, is this "shark" an irradiated mutation, a secret lab-created weapon, or a creature from another world?

— In-Game description

Behemoth is a male "shark" in Hungry Shark Evolution added with version 9.0.0. Behemoths exist as new enemies. This "shark" and his evolved form is also a Kaiju, like Sharkjira and Magmajira. As of February 6, 2024, he can now be evolved into Behellmouth, making him stronger. He is Sharkjira's arch-nemesis.

Cost[]

Behemoth is extremely expensive. (The second most expensive in terms on coins, along with Luminite and Kraken, and only less expensive than Magmajira and Abyssaurus Rex with gems, and Sharknarok with coins). And needs 900 gems or 750,000 coins if you have Luminite to max level to be bought. You can get him on sale for half the price or 85% off. On discount, Behemoth costs 375,000 coins or 125 gems.

Appearance[]

Behemoth is a peculiar Kaiju/monster creature that emits a strange, purple-hued radiation with paranormal and supernatural properties. His vibrant purple eyes beam with power as he unleashes his abilities, causing his body to appear as if he's ablaze. The creature boasts a formidable, muscular build with bulky arms and small legs, while his skin is pastel blue with a single spike adorning his upper jaw.

Diet and Abilities[]

Behemoth can eat almost everything in the game and has new abilities. His abilities are the following:

Shar-Pokalipse

Shar-Pokalipse.

  • Shar - Pokalipse: Can be activated by pressing the skill button. This unleashes a powerful shockwave that creates an Otherworld portal, drawing in all nearby prey and instantly killing them. This ability is particularly useful for obtaining Gold Rushes, as it enables players to collect a large number of points and coins quickly. It can also be employed to attract gemfish and acquire gems more easily.
Meteor rain

Meteor's Rain.

  • Meteor Rain: To activate this ability, you must press the Skill button while on land. This unleashes a destructive Meteor Rain, which rains down meteors from the sky, obliterating any nearby prey. This ability is significantly more stronger and longer-lasting than the the Pyro Shark.it also has more meteors and better range
Atomic beam

The Beam-emoth.

  • Beam-emoth: This ability is exclusive to Gold Rush and functions similarly to Sharkjira's Atomic Breath and Luminite's Rays of Extinction. However, there is a brief delay of half a second before it begins firing, unlike Luminite's Rays of Extinction and Sharkjira's Atomic Breath which start immediately. Once activated, this ability unleashes a powerful beam that decimates everything in its path, making it an excellent choice for clearing out a large number of prey during Gold Rush.
Dark Gaze 1

The Dark gaze.

  • Dark gaze: This ability is triggered by boosting and causes the eyes, body, and fins to radiate with energy. While primarily a visual effect, it serves a functional purpose as well. The energy boost increases damage output against Shark invaders, making it easier to take them down and defend against attacks.

In addition to the abilities above, this shark is capable of destroying both rocks and buildings. It can also walk on land, but instead, Behemoth knuckle-walks similar to an ape. Sharkjira and its evolved form, Magmajira, possess the same ability to destroy buildings. he has 8 abilities

Pros & Cons[]

Pros[]

  • Very powerful abilities that can kill everything.
  • Shar - Pokalipse is very strong.
  • Health is very high of 700, higher than Abyssaurus Rex, same as Aaron, the Destruktor.
  • Immune to Toxic Barrels.
  • Can get you more Coins and Points than Magmajira, Luminite and Abyssaurus Rex.
  • Doesn't get stuck between land and sea unlike Magmajira.
  • Currently, one of the best/strongest sharks in the game.
  • Shark - pokalipse and Beam - Emoth during Gold Rush may give more points and gold than Magmajira.
  • Most missions are easy.
  • Super Mission is very easy with this shark.
  • Shark - pokalipse is slightly wider than the mind control of Abyssaurus Rex.
  • Dark Gaze is useful against shark invaders.

Cons[]

  • Health Drain is ridiculously quick.
  • Slow speed.
  • Low boost.
  • Levels up EXTREMELY slowly.
  • Lower health than Magmajira and Sharknarok.
  • Beam-emoth gives no points when killing enemy sharks.
  • Beam-emoth doesn't shoot completely instantly.
  • Super mission only gives 10.000 coins, like Luminite and Sharknarok.
  • Stiff body, hard to control if the game is laggy.

Tip[]

  • If you Equip 'Krampus Bucket' and 'Fireworks', it will make up for Behemoth's mediocre speed and boost. (Or, simply upgrade your boost, though that will cost a pretty penny, the first bit is better in a way.)
  • You can activate meteor rain or shower ability when you are out of water.

Trivia[]

  • He is Sharkjira’s arch-nemesis (rival). One of the prove is in his mission "Unavoidable Fight" which is to kill 5 Sharkjiras. This also goes against Abysshark, who was Sharkjira's first nemesis.
  • Although all sharks (aside from Special Sharks) have only 25 more health than their predecessor, Behemoth has a whopping 225 more health than its predecessor, Luminite. This is probably to make it compete more with evolved sharks like Magmajira or Aaron, the Destruktor. Magmajira has 750 health, while Aaron, the Destruktor has 700 health.
  • His Super Mission only gives 10,000 coins, like Luminite.
  • Behemoth is the 2nd shark in the Hungry Shark series that has unknown origins. The first is Cosmic Alan.
Behemoth Teaser
  • Behemoth is the second shark in the game whose name starts with the letter B, the first being Big Daddy, but with two words.
  • In-game, it's still unknown that either Behemoth is a radioactive mutant, an alien or a mystery creature from another world, but there's a clue. Since Behemoth can summon/create the Shar-Pokalipse aka "Otherworld portal", Behemoth is definitely a creature from another world. Although, some say that Behemoth is an alien, but the update log in Google Play confirms that Behemoth is made from the DNA of Sharkjira and a creature from another world (possibly Cosmic Alan).
  • His Beam-emoth ability can damage the Giant Crab even if his weak spot is not exposed.
  • Behemoth is the second shark to have buildings in-game.
  • Behemoth is the first shark whose skill button has two abilities.
  • In the loading screen when he was added, as well as the trailer and promotional art, he is shown destroying the battleship that appears sunken in the Western Sea, as well as the Titanic. This implies he is responsible for the two ships sinking in Hungry Shark Evolution.
    • However, he is much smaller than either ship in-game.
  • According to Future Games of London, Behemoth's Shar-Pokalipse is both a BlackHole and a portal, making Behemoth the second shark to create a portal, after Nessie.
  • In the trailer release (or in-game loading screen), it shows that Behemoth's body color is dark grey while in the Shark Info screen it is a light blue.
