The Daily Reward chest. This was used before the graphical facelift.
The Daily Reward was a feature from Hungry Shark Evolution, designed to grant players coins and gems when tapped once daily. The rewards progressively improve until the fifth day, at which point the sequence resets, returning to the initial reward.
While the rewards gained from the Daily Reward are beneficial initially, their significance diminishes as you advance within the game. As you unlock more powerful sharks, your ability to accumulate coins surpasses the value of Daily Reward rewards, including gem offerings.

- Day 1: 500 coins
- Day 2: 750 coins
- Day 3: 1000 coins
- Day 4: 2000 coins
- Day 5: 10 gems
- Day 6: 5000 coins
- Day 7: 20 Gems or Alan, Destroyer of Worlds (Starter shark)
Should you skip a day or remain inactive for a day, the reward cycle reverts to Day 1.
Locating the Daily Reward[]
Formerly, the Daily Reward was depicted on the map as a treasure chest. The most straightforward approach to locating it was using the Reef Shark, Megalodon, or Leo (Liopleurodon). The first two sharks spawned to the right of the Daily Reward chest, while Leo spawned to the left. Thanks to Leo's speed and its knack for shattering cracked rocks, he would be able to get it easily.

- The Daily Reward could be acquired multiple times in a day by using Airplane mode on your device, collecting the reward, and advancing the date. For a detailed guide on employing this method to accumulate coins and gems, consult Method 2 in the "Gems/Guide (HSE)" page.
- Occasionally, on Day 7, players are awarded with Alan as a reward.
- Starting in the middle of 2020, the Daily Reward became accessible through the menu, and the chest was unfortunately removed from the map.
- The updated Daily Reward no longer resets if a day is missed.
