Drago (Pliosaur) is an XL "shark" in Hungry Shark World.

Description

Drago is a green pliosaur with brown stripes. Drago has a crocodilian-like face and a ridge on his back. Drago has four flippers and yellow eyes with slitted pupils.

Abilities

He's an ancient predator with 4 special abilities; he can snap up food along his sides, Drago is able to breathe air, so there is no health drain, AND he can move quickly on land, something that only the Atomic Shark could do before Drago's release. However, he has one more ability they do not mention: he can spread his fins out in-air and reduce his fall speed as long as you input a direction. This is the exact same effect of equipping the Aircraft Wings.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• He has the unique 4 abilities; gliding, able to slide on land, no additional health drain added on land, and he is able to bend his mouth to grab prey
• He is impressive on stats
• Can grab distant food
• Moderate health drain
• A very decent bite stat, even when not upgraded

Cons:

• Pretty expensive to obtain
• Hard to unlock
• Might accidentally eat trash
• Often bumps into mines

Trivia

• He is the third playable in the game to not be a shark, the other two are Killer Whale and Big Momma (Dunkleosteus). The new shark to fall under this category is Echo (Ichthyosaur).
• He has 4 special abilities.
• Drago is actually undersized. A type of Pliosaur, Liopleurodon, is 6m. Pliosaurus, a larger Pliosaur, is 10-14m. Either way, he is still undersized.
  • Although, it's more likely Drago was based on Macroplata, a small pliosaur about 4 m long similar to the one in-game, instead.
  • He can eat Orcas and Enemy XL sharks (or smaller) in one bite, unlike other XL sharks.
  • Real-life pliosaurs could not actually walk on land.
• He is depicted as Leo's rival and friend in promotional images.
• According to concept art, Drago is in fact, a Liopleurodon. If this is true in the game, Drago would be the first Liopleurodon in the series, the second being Leo and the third being Lio.
