The Enemy Megalodon (HSE) is a hostile creature that was released in the Hungry Shark Evolution 2013 Christmas Update. She is the non-playable equivalent of the Megalodon (HSE), and one of the most powerful hostile counterpart of the playable sharks in Hungry Shark Evolution, weaker than the Enemy Big Daddy, Mr Snappy, Alan, Destroyer of Worlds, and above.
The Megalodon, Big Daddy, Mr. Snappy, Alan, Destroyer of Worlds, Moby Dick, Leo, Nessie, Sharkjira, Abysshark, Kraken, Luminite, Behemoth, Sharknarok, and Robo Shark may defeat this enemy shark under normal circumstances, though all sharks may eat an Enemy Megalodon during a Gold Rush. She usually spawns in deep caves or near shark cages, sometimes near portals too.
The Enemy Megalodon looks extremely devilish by appearance, with the entire body having a dull charcoal color. Her eyes are pale yellow, with bloodstained jaws and multiple cuts and scars running throughout her face and gills. Her underbelly is dove gray and extends from the lower jaw rather than from the region between the eyes and nostrils. Recently however, due to a strange glitch, her texture is identical to the playable Megalodon, being bright slate in color.
Danger Rating[]
The Enemy Megalodon has a danger rating of Extreme. The Enemy Megalodon deals the thirteenth most damage of any living creature in the game (with first being Enemy Sharknarok), inflicting an unbelievable 135 damage per attack (as of now), which is enough to instantly kill a fully grown Reef Shark and almost kill a fully grown Mako and Hammerhead Shark in a single bite.
Behavior[]
Like the Evil Great White, the game will zoom out the camera to alert every player of the enemy shark's presence. If approached, the enemy shark will lunge at the player and bite.
Location[]
Although the chance to spawn is somewhat random, the Enemy Megalodon has several consistent spawn points. The chance to spawn varies by location but generally they will be empty at low gold levels, then will contain an Evil Great White Shark after obtaining enough gold, then after reaching the next gold criteria will contain an Enemy Megalodon. They can spawn both an Evil Great White Shark and Enemy Megalodon at the same time which is very dangerous. Enemy Megalodon are able to respawn after about 5 minutes.
Known Spawn Points:[]
- Left of the Wakaba (No Longer Spawns).
- Left of the Alien Planet Portal (common).
- Just above the Arctic Land Portal, usually slightly to the left (common).
- In the open area just left of the Bog Brush (common).
- In front of the entrance to the Kempy Cave (rare).
- Right of the Dart Board (common).
An Enemy Megalodon formerly spawned in the "Moon on a Stick" Treasure Area, but she was replaced by the Enemy Big Daddy. She has also been reported to be seen inside of the Kempy Bass's treasure room.

Appearance In Hungry Shark World[]
The Enemy Megalodon is found in every map except Pacific Islands. This massive creature has the 3rd strongest bite of any enemy in the game (behind Enemy Big Momma and Saltwater Crocodile). He takes a single bite instead of savoring his attack through a struggle, much like lower-tier enemy sharks when the player's shark is smaller. He can kill smaller sharks in a single chomp. Enemy Megalodons can also kill an L and XL shark or a Dark Magic Shark in 1.5 bites.
Enemy Megalodons are typically solitary, although they can spawn in groups of 2 in the South China Sea. Spawn points can be found in the Megalodon HSW page.

Trivia[]
- She previously guarded the cavern housing the Moon on a Stick sunken item, but she was replaced by the Enemy Big Daddy when the new Shark Week update came out.
- In older versions, the Enemy Megalodon appears for a brief moment as the shark on the Top Secret Lab button. This is a glitch. It no longer happens due to the removal of the Top Secret Lab.
- The area around the Kempy Cave spawns 2 Enemy Megalodons on occasion. This is the only location that does this.
- The only way for a shark inferior to the Megalodon to eat the Enemy Megalodon (without any pets or accessories that can kill it) is to undergo a Gold Rush.
- Enemy Megalodons appear rough, dark, and badly injured. If you look closely, you can see their eyes are red and their flesh has been bitten.
- Robo Shark can also eat this giant menace despite being smaller, due to having the same diet as the Megalodon. He can also kill her by shooting a mine at her.
- She is the third most massive enemy in the game; the second is the Enemy Big Daddy; the first is the Giant Crab.
- It is sometimes wondered by many why the Enemy Megalodon, along with the Enemy Big Daddy, are called 'Enemy(s)' instead of 'Evil(s)', but this was probably just a minor change, or it's because they're bigger and rarer than the other evil sharks.
- A single bite from this deadly menace will instantly kill a fully-grown Reef Shark.
- The Mako Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Great White Shark, and Megalodon can survive just one bite from this deadly menace, while Big Daddy, Mr. Snappy, Alan, Destroyer of Worlds and Moby Dick can survive two bites.
- The area that one of the Enemy Megalodon guards has received multiple guardians over time. Originally, an Evil Great White Shark guarded this area, but was replaced with an Enemy Megalodon upon her release. The Enemy Megalodon was then replaced by an Enemy Big Daddy upon his release.
- The Enemy Megalodon's Museum image looks similar to the Megalodon's old Shark Info image
- The Enemy Megalodon is one of the enemy sharks that uses the slow-motion roar when eaten. This may be due to her strength, however an even stronger adversary, the Enemy Big Daddy does not have this special effect. Enemy Snappies and Enemy Alans also have slow motion roars when eaten.
- As of now, there is a bug in which her texture is identical to the playable Megalodon.
- Upon consumption, she showcases the gibs from the enemy version. This is similar to the case of the Enemy Ice Shark, where the gibs of the Enemy Great White Shark are displayed as well.
