Big Momma (Dunkleosteus) is the second !! "shark" in Hungry Shark World. She can be purchased with 450,000 coins or 500 gems.

Abilities

Like any other !! shark, she can equip up to 3 pets at a time and can break purple crystal walls. During gold rush, her points multiplier is 8X. She has one of the highest health stats of any shark in the game.

Unlike most other sharks, it can't be stunned by divers and other projectiles allowing it to keep going at a fast rate. This could be because of the fact that dunkleosteus had armor plating covering 1/3 of its body, mostly covering its head. Big Momma and Big Daddy have visible armor plating, which explains their high health and tankiness, and the fact that Big Momma can't be stunned. This is good when encountering laser sharks or regular mines which can stun and damage you. They are mostly located in the South China Sea, at the bottom sea floors of the map. Big Momma can eat everything, except for red jellyfish, king jellyfish, proximity mines, mega mines, and ultra mines. 

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Has the unique ability called "Unstoppable", allowing her to shrug of being stunned.
• Has extremely high health.
• Her stats are very high, apart from her speed

Cons:

• You may want to invest a lot in the force field, to prevent divers damaging her too much.
• She has the slowest boost speed in the game, even slower than Buzz (Helicoprion) , Megalodon (HSW) and Basking Shark.
• She is easily overwhelmed by divers; especially in the Arabian Sea.
• She sometimes can't fit through tight spots.
• Massive health drain in the late game, meaning that getting stung by a red jelly or a king jelly then, would most likely mean certain death.
• Her boost bar is relatively small.

Tips

• Never equip the "Unstoppable" power-up, it already contains this ability making it useless.
• Big Momma's Unstoppable ability allows her to power through attacks from divers and other projectiles without being stunned. This is especially useful for plowing through groups of enemies and avoiding slowdowns.
• Despite her high health, divers can still inflict significant damage on Big Momma. Investing in the force field can reduce the harm caused by divers and other hazards.
• Big Momma's large size can make it difficult to maneuver through narrow areas. Be cautious when navigating these spaces to avoid getting stuck and taking damage.
• Big Momma can ram through things without getting stunned in the ocean, but the red and king jellyfish can quickly drain her health. Avoid these hazards whenever possible to keep Big Momma from being even more slow.

Trivia

• Big Momma (and in this case Big Daddy) aren't actually sharks. Their species, Dunkleosteus terrelli is part of an extinct species of arthrodire placoderm fish that first appeared in the Late Devonian period 380 million years ago. The species went extinct 360 million years ago.
• There is a special enemy Big Momma that only appears in the South China Sea map, and it is a Big Momma wielding a laser weapon. There is a laser-wielding Megalodon shark as well on the same map. The laser weapon acts the same way a regular one does by immobilizing you, so they can attack.
• Big Momma's appearance strongly resembles Poseidon the Dunkleosteus from the arcade game Animal Kaiser.
• For some bizarre reason, Big Momma can be found in her enemy form in Hungry Dragon. She can be found swimming in the Shadow Lake area of the game and requires an XL dragon to be eaten. More info on it here.
• There was a recent update where they gave most sharks a HD design with shadings, and Big Momma was one of them.
• Similar to Big Daddy, it has a mutated tounge, but the tounge doesn't grab enemies unlike Big Daddy unless if you as A Zombie Shark zombified A Big momma, then only the tounge will grab enemies like Big Daddy.
• In the latest update, another variant for Big Momma is the Apex beast, Mighty Matriach who at the first unreleased leak, many people referred to it as the "Queen Big Momma" mainly refering to be the queen of the Space Big Mommas.
