Sharkjira found the hottest fragment of a dormant volcano... and ate it. Take a glance at the strongest beast the world has ever seen: Magmajira!

— In-game description

Magmajira is an evolved shark in Hungry Shark Evolution, added with version 8.4.0. It is the evolved version of the standard Sharkjira. You can change the evolution from evolution to standard and from standard to evolution whenever you want. When first released, this was not the case; you could only change the look and the abilities were the same. It was a cosmetic change.

Cost[]

You can buy Sharkjira with 500,000 coins or 900 gems and then evolve him with 300 gems. Formerly 1,000 gems

Abilities[]

As previously indicated, Magmajira is an enhanced version of Sharkjira, boasting superior statistics and unique capabilities. Its most notable feature is the evolved Atomic Breath.

MagmaBreath(new)

Atomic Breath

  • Ultimate Ability: This monster can create a powerful laser beam, capable of destroying all of mankind.
Magmajira Gold Rush

Aura of Fire

  • Gold Rush Ability: Due to living in hot environments, this beast can make summon a huge blast of magma, annihilating any creature in it's path.

Magmajira also has all the abilities that Sharkjira has. Breaking rocks, destroying buildings eating torpedoes, walking on land and can destroy the toxic barrels with his Atomic Breath. Magmajira is also immune to toxic barrels like Sharkjira.

Appearance[]

Magmajira is a bulky shark-like creature with rows of protruding crystal spikes. These spikes decrease in size as they travel down the length of its tail. The creature's scales appear to be a light brownish-gray color, whereas its underbelly is a little white in color. Magmajira has two highly distinct fingers that resemble claws, along with three toes on each foot. When walking on land, Magmajira resembles the Burning Godzilla, due to its imposing size and fiery appearance.

Skins[]

Skins are items, that when equipped change your shark's appearance.

  • When in gold rush, use your "Atomic Breath" ability to get more coins and points. When you do this, you can get massive amounts of points in the early game and possibly get a billion points at ease.

Trivia[]

  • Magmajira is most likely a homage to Godzilla's Burning Form, specifically the "Heisei Burning Godzilla (1995)" and the "Legendary Burning Godzilla (2019)" from the films "Godzilla vs Destroyah" (1995) and "Godzilla: King of The Monsters" (2019) respectively.
  • Magmajira is the first thing to cost 1000 gems, as previous sharks had a maximum price of 900 gems.
  • Upon release, a glitch prevented Jira-Chan from being equipped, but as of the April 13, 2021 update, Jira-Chan is now available.
  • Due to Magmajira's unique spikes, accessories such as the Crab Fork and Shark Vortex do not scale proportionately and may look oversized.
  • Upon its initial release, Magmajira had a bugged hitbox that allowed it to pass through walls, which could be exploited to leave the playable map area. This issue was addressed in v8.7.0.
  • Magmajira is considered one of the best sharks in the game, if not the best, although some may argue that Abyssaurus Rex is superior. Others believe that Behemoth and Luminite are the best.
  • Some players have achieved negative scores while using Magmajira, with the score becoming negative after reaching 2,170,000,000 points. However, the exact score at which the score turns negative and begins counting backward may vary by device; some devices require 2,140,000,000 points to achieve a negative score. Once the score falls below -1, it will become positive again.
