Proof sharks can make coordinated attacks - and that they work!

— In-game description

Fin, Finn n Finny are the 9th Special Shark(s) added in Hungry Shark Evolution on January 17th, 2023, exactly one year after Behemoth's release on 17th January 2022. This shark is actually a trio of tiny cookiecutter sharks with the ability to destroy nearly anything with just a boost.

Appearance[]

Fin, Finn, and Finny are three sharks that work together in one location. Fin is distinguishable from the others by his orange color and red side eye, along with a cut on his mouth and white color under his body. Meanwhile, Finn looks similar to Fin, but has blue side eyes and almost white pupils. Finny, on the other hand, wears a small propeller beanie on top of his head. Please note that the order of the names may need to be adjusted based on the template image.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Deadly Whirl: As a team, Fin, Finn, and Finny possess the ability to create an incredibly powerful swirl beyond capability. This ability is capable of obliterating anything in its path, including even Sharknarok. In other words, this shark can consume everything with its boost. However, the Deadly Swirl's power is limited in the early growth levels and does not last for an extended period of time.

Pros and Cons[]

Pros

  • Can eat everything with its Deadly Swirl
  • Somewhat low health drain
  • Can defeat Sharknarok and destroy any enemy in the game
  • Decent for map exploring
  • Can fit into very small places
  • Useful against Seal Pups
  • Possibly one/three of the strongest Special Sharks
  • Can be considered one/three of the best sharks in the game
  • The other 2 sharks act like pets unless they are activated by the middle shark that they start joining the deadly swirl ability.

Cons

  • Low health
  • Unable to break cracked rocks
  • Expensive, 200,000 coins, like the Ghost Shark
  • Completely helpless on land
  • It's pretty slow with a low boost system
  • Boosting barely makes it faster, making it difficult to destroy Mini Subs
  • The screen is very small, preventing the player from seeing some threats early

Trivia[]

  • The name is most likely a reference to the Cartoon Network show, Ed, Edd n Eddy.
    • Additionally, the color of each shark also matches an outfit color of one of the three titular characters (olive green for Ed, red for Edd, and yellow for Eddy).
  • It is the first shark in Hungry Shark Evolution to wear something without any accessories equipped. In this case, one of the sharks wears a propeller beanie.
  • Although it is unable to eat mines, it can destroy them with its Deadly Swirl, without taking any damage.
  • They are the smallest sharks in the game.
  • The way they spin when using the Deadly Whirl ability may be a reference to how cookiecutter sharks cut into their victims.
  • Like with the second wave of Evolved Sharks, Fin, Finn, n Finny were also added to the iOS version of the game before the Android version.
  • They are the newest Special Sharks in the game, added five years after the Wereshark.
  • When the playable shark of the three dies, the other two keep on swimming and eating prey around like babies.
  • They are probably mutated superpowered sharks, as they can use a deadly swirl. In real life, cookiecutter sharks are much weaker.
    • In real life however, cookiecutter sharks have been recorded to be able to live and survive at a depth of 3500 meters, take bites of larger animals, and are even known to damage submarines.
  • Because they can kill everything and are basically invincible when boosting, they can be considered some of the best sharks in the game.
  • Despite being even smaller than a Reef Shark, they can eat everything the Megalodon can eat (except mines) without the Deadly Swirl.
  • Shark Info mentions they can grow up to 5 meters, this is untrue in-game, as they are even smaller than the Reef Shark and Robo Shark, both of which are 4 meters.
  • Its card's icon is different from its icon in-game. The card shows its icon with all 3 of the sharks, but in-game the icon shows only one of them.
