Fireworks are an accessory that can be bought for 300 gems. Formerly, it could be earned by collecting all the Shark of Liberty pieces.
Effect[]
Fireworks increase the speed bonus of the shark's boost by 50%. This gives the ability to propel your shark at ridiculously fast speeds underwater when boosting. The fireworks also increase the speed of the Jetpack, as the Jetpack is operated using boost, meaning it can stack along with the Jetpack to make your shark faster. They are both very useful if combined. It's worth it.
Equipment Slot[]
Fireworks are equipped on the underbelly of the shark. Only two known accessories that are available all year round in Hungry Shark Evolution are equipped here, the other being the Skateboard, making the Fireworks relatively unique. However, due to this, only one accessory of either the Skateboard or Fireworks may be equipped at once.
Trivia[]
- This accessory used to only be obtainable by collecting the nine Shark of Liberty statue fragments.
- This accessory is extremely useful when paired with the Shark Vortex, allowing sharks to make the most out of their Gold Rushes by zooming around the map and devouring large sharks for points and coins.
- This accessory is best attached to sharks with large eating hitboxes, such as Big Daddy, Mr. Snappy, Alan, Destroyer of Worlds, Leo, Sharkjira, Abysshark and Kraken, since you can boost through many schools of fish extremely quick and gobble most, if not all of them up.
- The worst sharks one could attach this accessory to are Megalodon, Moby Dick, and Nessie.
- Megalodon has an incredible boost speed to begin with, and with this accessory, he moves so fast, he passes by most small fish without eating them.
- Moby Dick has the same, intensified problem as Megalodon with the Fireworks since he is even faster and he possesses such an infuriatingly small eating hitbox in relativity to his size, so he often bumps into reef sharks and pushes them along without eating them. This may be for balance reasons, since Moby can stun enemies above him with his blowhole and eat them for double points, so his eating hitbox slows him down.
- Nessie would benefit from having Fireworks attached to her, since her boost speed and duration are below average, if not one of the slowest speed boosts in the game. However, her eating hitbox is small, so she often passes through entire schools of fish without eating them. Both her speed and her small eating hitbox are for balance reasons: this prevents players from camping Nessie in the middle of the Gold Rush dimension's screen, boost, and eat the endless supply of fish and sharks, especially with the Shark Vortex equipped.
- Placing Fireworks on Abysshark is a double-edged sword; despite having one of the most responsive and largest eating hitboxes in the game, Abyss shark often misses entire schools of fish with the Fireworks equipped, even though he has a slow boost speed. Again, this is for balance reasons, since Abyss Shark has his own, massive vortex that can suck in anything in his path, automatically mind control fish and eats them for 2x points during Gold Rush, can use both abilities at the same time during Gold Rush, and equip the Shark Vortex for good measure. Equip the Fireworks if you dare, but you will only enjoy it benefits when Abysshark uses his abilities and the shark vortex.
