Hungry Shark: Part 2 was the second Hungry Shark game in the franchise, and the sequel to Hungry Shark: Part 1. It featured a diverse range of brand new aquatic creatures to be eaten, treasures to be found and a Great White Shark-like creature as the star.

This game has a brand new map, some with familiar names like Iceland and the Caves of Doom, as well as multiple new locations such as Elephant Island and Fatman's Cove. It also has a host of new edible creatures such as crabs of variable sizes, stingrays, seagulls, and the elusive Oil Baron. The game also features a roster of 10 brand new Sunken Objects, different from those in the past game. It also features Toxic Barrels, a brand new hazard.

A new addition to this game is the first-ever Giant Crab enemy. It is a boss creature, and is unique from other enemies in the game and series.

    • Although Iceland isn't too different from its Part 1 counterpart besides its layout and location on the map, the Caves of Doom in this game are very different, as it is where the Giant Crab spawns in Part 2.
  • This game marks the first iteration of the Giant Crab.
  • The sky is orange in Hungry Shark: Part 2.
  • This is the first installment in Hungry Shark Trilogy where water turns black instead of dark blue in very deep areas.
  • Blue Jellyfish received a redesign that also appears in Part 3.
  • The Oil Baron's role in this game is similar to that of the Kempy Bass in Part 3, as both of them are rare defenseless prey, that only spawn once in one location.
