Missions were a feature in Hungry Shark World. They were replaced by the Shark Quests in version 4.1.0. It's needed for Mecha Sharkjira, you need to collect 90 Schematics in order to purchase him with pearls (6k pearls). You can get the schematics by doing Shark Quests for any Sharks and each Shark has a quest and once you finish the Quests you will get 1 schematic. You unlock Mecha Sharkjira's ultimate ability getting 38 more schematics. It makes a huge explosion after Atomic Blast gets empty. You also can complete the Shark Quests by using Gems.

Missions in Hungry Shark World had many differences from their Hungry Shark Evolution counterparts. They did not differ from shark to shark, but world to world. Some missions could be completed anywhere though. Missions could be a major source of coins.
