Shar-Khan is an evolved shark in Hungry Shark Evolution, added with version 8.6.0. It is the evolved version of Tiger Shark. This shark was formerly iOS exclusive, but is now available for Android.

Shar-khan unleashes a powerful roar, stunning enemies within a small radius in front of it, causing enemies to spin around in circles with stars circling their heads. This ability is similar to Moby Dick's stun ability. (Note: On a recent update, this ability has been removed, and has been replaced by the "Super Shout" ability.)

Shar-khan unleashes an even larger more powerful roar, when boosting, stunning everything on screen, including larger enemy sharks, while also disables torpedoes from Mini Subs. This ability is very similar to Electro Shark's electric shocks, but on a larger scale.
Appearance[]
Shar-Khan resembles a real-life tiger, with orange skin and black stripes, in the shape of a shark. Its fin anatomy is stylized, featuring four dorsal fins and other unique characteristics. Decorations around Shar-Khan's head resemble the mane of a Chinese guardian lion. Its appearance bears a bit resemblance to the Tiger Shark and the Atomic Shark from Hungry Shark World.

- Lots of Health (330 HP), even more than Moby Dick.
- Quite slow health drain.
- Has a diet as strong as Big Daddy
- Can eat Enemy Pyro Shark
- Low cost to upgrade stats.
- Can upgrade many times.
- Can survive an attack from larger sharks like Nessie.
- Button ability stuns all prey on screen (ability even stronger with Sharkveillance).
- Very fast and agile.
- Rather small, making it difficult to get stuck.
Cons[]
- Does not eat much and does not gain many points.
- Ridiculously small at level 1, similar to Ice Shark and Electro Shark, being the size of a large tuna.
- Boost roar prevents the shark from eating prey for a sec or two, losing multiplier and points if you don't eat something quickly
- Small bite range, improves slightly when Shar-khan reaches maximum size.
- Overall outclassed by DarkHammer.
- Often gets bitten by enemies
- Ability can no longer stun any enemy sharks
Tips[]
- In the early game, whatever you do, do not buy this Evolution unless you are a collector. It is the worst Evolved shark by a large margin. Also, DarkHammer, who is much cheaper, is a much better shark. So, get him instead.
- However, if the player equips Pot Of Gold and Baby Vaquita, Shar-khan becomes extremely powerful, being able to compete with the likes of Lord Snappy and Zamaharibu.
- Do not use the Knockout Ability while you're boosting, it will stop you from unleashing the amount of stun it will do. (It also might be a bug. And yes this tip is outdated, the shark seems to be broken for now)
- Do not constantly boost. Instead, press boost to stun everything, then eat the enemies while they are stunned. When being chased by a larger enemy shark, boost to stun the enemy.
Trivia[]
- Shar-Khan is the first shark to be unveiled in the second set of the Evolved Sharks update, which was shown evolving with yellow water in the background of the image.
- On June 14, 2021, there was a discount & event based around Shar-Khan which took place before the update containing Shar-Khan was released or acknowledged by the developers. In a way, this event was somewhat unfair.
- Shar-Khan is named after Shere Khan, the main antagonist of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.
- Shar-Khan might be a Tiger Shark with real tiger DNA. There's a possibility that it also has a few Smilodon DNA, which is an extinct species of the Felidae. One piece of evidence is that it's called the "Saber Tooth Shark," and Smilodon is known as the Saber Toothed Tiger.
- Shar-khan has DarkHammer in its “Eats" section despite Enemy DarkHammers not existing. This is also true for Aaron, the Destruktor for the evolution that precedes it, being Lord Snappy.
- This may be to indicate that Shar-khan can eat invaders that spawn as Darkhammer.
- Like DarkHammer. Shar-Khan's jetpack is a little too large.
