The 5 main sharks in "Hungry Shark Evolution".

Sharks are fish which are playable in all of the games in the Hungry Shark series. Most sharks have enemy versions. The player can only eat the enemy versions if using a shark similar to the enemy one or a stronger shark. However, in some installments, you can eat sharks bigger and stronger than you are. The only games where you can do that are Hungry Shark: Night, Hungry Shark Evolution (Gold Rush, Ghoul Rush, Moon Rush, Demon Rush), and Hungry Shark World (Gold Rush, Mega Gold Rush, The Hungry Letters).

Sharks : Hungry Shark Trilogy[]

The Hungry Shark Trilogy (Part 1,2,3) features only one playable shark, the Great White Shark, which also has a Mega form. Its appearance is similar to the one in Hungry Shark Evolution. Within Part 3, the shark, on attaining higher levels, becomes capable of eating lionfish, which are toxic to the player at lower levels.

Sharks : Hungry Shark Night[]

Hungry Shark: Night, the first entry in the series to feature multiple playable characters, has three sharks: the Tiger Shark which is unlocked by default, and the Great White Shark and Hammerhead Shark, which can be purchased either using real money, or by watching multiple videos.

Sharks : Hungry Shark Evolution[]

Hungry Shark Evolution has the second most sharks, 12 common sharks, 6 Titan sharks, 10 special sharks, 2 demon sharks, which will soon become 4, and currently 8 evolved sharks, 5 being evolutions of common sharks and 3 being evolutions of Titan sharks. (All regular sharks need the previous one at level 10 with 100 % xp. to be unlocked or the player could use gems to buy the locked shark):

5	Great White Shark	The Great White Shark. The best shark out of all the 5 basics. He is the logo of the game. Has a very good diet, that includes Blue Jellyfish and Evil Great White Sharks. 6	Megalodon	The Megalodon. A colossal shark-monster, can devour most prey, including all jellyfish and normal and large mines (excluding Ultra Mines). With a large health pool. 6	Sharknarok	Sharknarok was captured by a wizard inside an ice monolith during the Middle Ages. He is an ancient sea serpent from the age of Vikings can release lightning storms to crush his foe. 4	Pyro Shark	Has a mixed diet. Has 3 abilities - Dragon Breath which you do by boosting, (fire causes erratic movement, and blows them up which feeds you. Eat for extra points) Flight which works like Robo Shark's, and Meteor Storm (Happens during Gold Rush, blows food up and feeds you, can kill bigger prey). 5	Natasha the Narwhal	She is the weakest of the Top Secret Lab Sharks but surprisingly very expensive. She can fire javelins with her extremely small boost. She is the weakest, but she is better than the Pyro Shark.	180,000 Coins, 300 Gems
6	Ghost Shark	Probably the most powerful and definitely the most expensive of the Top Secret Lab sharks (apart from Fin, Finn n Finny). He is invincible (except while in Ghoul Rush), and can teleport through walls when boosting. His health still drains, but very slowly.	200,000 Coins, 300 Gems
7	Sharkeleon	A shark with many special powers. In his normal stage, he can stick his tongue out or become invisible to prevent himself from getting damaged. He can use Mimic to mimic Horror, Ice and Pyro abilities. Named as Franz.	180,000 Coins, 300 Gems
8	Wereshark	Half shark, half wolf. Every night, this shark changes into his night form and becomes even more powerful. A shark with many special powers, he can break rocks, move at hyper speed, and get a shield when eating the moon. 4	Aaron, the Destruktor	During Gold Rush he spits a line of poison from his mouth (Venom Breath) which stuns and after a little kills enemies. The poison spreads outwards and hits the enemies. 5	Magmajira (Kaiju Shark)	Magmajira is an upgraded version of Sharkjira with higher stats and special features. His main special ability is his evolved Atomic Breath and instead of blue colour it is instead orange colour. He has other similar abilities to Sharkjira and that is breaking rocks in his way, Building Demolishing, eats torpedoes, walks on land similar to Godzilla and can destroy the toxic barrels. 6	Abyssaurus Rex	Abyssaurus has more health, 575, than his original form, 425 and has a slightly larger and better bite radius. He also has enhanced skills and more abilities than Abysshark's original form, as the first form has 4 abilities. The evolved form has 6 abilities, 3 old ones improved, an old ones that remain the exact same. and 2 new ones, that Abysshark did not have in his original form. Improved Void Mouth and Mind control. New color change and Angler pets, old crawling on land that is faster now and breaking rocks abilities. Unfortunately, while he can eat Evil Krakens and Evil Luminites, he can't eat Evil Behemoths and Evil Sharknaroks.	Abysshark	300 Gems
7	Behellmouth	Behellmouth is the seventh evolved shark. He has more health than Behemoth, who has 700; Behellmouth has 750, the most health in the game (the same as Magmajira but more powerful). If you boost for long enough, he'll use Planar Piercer and is swift on land during Gold Rush; this is due to Trample. He has a powerful Hellbeam that is capable of annihilating anything in its path. He got these powers after a heated battle with with Magmajira. Behemoth got knocked into the abyss (implied to be the place Demon sharks reside in), only to come into contact with an unknown force, heavily implied to be related to the Demon Sharks, demonizing him into Behellmouth, the fearsome demonic evolution of Behemoth. 8	Zamaharibu	Zamaharibu is the eighth evolved shark. He has 200 more health than Leo. Zamaharibu can create a larger, improved, more powerful vortex pulling enemies from far within reach into his mouth. He also shares the same drill ability as Lord Snappy. Zamaharibu is a huge sea monster greatly feared by veteran pirates, as he often sank their ships within a few blows. He is more powerful than Lord Snappy and arguably more powerful than Aaron. Demon Sharks introduce a new gamemode, where there are a new set of enemies on top of the already existing ones, such as The Special Squad, or enemy versions of existing demon sharks. This makes gameplay significantly harder with many inedibles, and Demon Sharks can be damaged and lose multiplier during Demon Rush. New enemies include divers with enhanced weapons, stronger mines and subs, Electric Jellyfish and Mecha eels. The environment also includes many more geysers than the original mode, on top of a hellish red sky and blood water.

1	Leviathan	Armoured with powerful pincers and tentacles, it uses Incinerate and Stone Burst to attack enemies and Spiked Armor to defend itself. Leviathan is the first shark of the Demon category. He can eat everything the biggest standard shark can eat, and is one tier above Sharknarok or Behellmouth. He has three powerful abilities, which are Incinerate, a much more powerful Atomic breath than Sharkjira's and Behemoth's, Spiked Armor, which makes him totally immune to any attack, and stone burst, an area attack that destroys everything around him.	1200 Gems
2	Astaroth	Astaroth, death itself in shark form. He rises from the abyssal underworld wielding his spectral scythe to harvest souls with every strike. With necromantic power, he summons fallen enemies to swim at his side, an army of the damned. A shroud of pestilence radiates from his form, an aura of decay that obliterates all who dare cross his path. He summons anywhere from 2 to 6 ghosts sharks which he uses as projecticles, strikes enemies with scythes and explodes them with zombifying pestilence.	1200 Gems

	5	Spike (Stethacanthus)	A purple-colored shark which stuns the water life around him if Spike is currently boosting. This effect also prevents larger Predators from biting Spike, which is especially useful due to his Small size. He is the Special Shark of the 'small' rank.	8,000 Coins,55 Gems.
M Medium	6	Sand Shark	An oddly shaped shark. Has a powerful bite and is strong too. He is an M-sized shark.	12,000 Coins,55 Gems.
	7	Thresher Shark	This Thresher shark is pretty quick, and has a large tail too. His pupils are so close to the front of his eyes that sometimes the player finds it hard to see them. He is an M-sized shark. He is focused on speed.	14,000 Coins,60 Gems.
	8	Smooth Hammerhead Shark	The Smooth Hammerhead has pretty average stats, with a classic look. She is an M-sized Shark.	16,000 Coins,70 Gems.
	9	Heidi (Wobbegong)	Heidi can turn invisible if she is not boosting, not being attacked, and is close to a solid surface. If all three are true, Prey and Predators alike cannot spot Heidi, allowing her to escape or sneak attack the ocean residents. She is the Special Shark of the 'Medium' rank.	24,000 Coins, 100 Gems.
L Large	10	Bull Shark	The first Large shark. Another classic looking shark. Has a powerful bite and is pretty short. He is an L-sized shark.	27,000 Coins,100 Gems.

	35	Ancient Megalodon	A prehistoric mutated version of the Megalodon. Has an enormous bite force and can create a destructive shockwave that stuns any prey. She is the original Apex shark.	5,000 Pearls.
	36	Alpha Zombie Shark	A mutated version of the Zombie Shark, who is the mutated undead version of the Megalodon. Like the original Zombie Shark, this shark can turn enemy sharks into zombies in which they will follow the player. Alpha Zombie Shark can also consume them for healing himself and blasting out projectiles. The original. The undying. The alpha.	5,000 Pearls.
	37	Meltdown Shark	As being a mutated version of the Atomic Shark, and the second mutated version of the Tiger Shark, this shark has some really cool abilities. Eating a prey charges up his atomic core, and when his core is finally charged, he triggers the "Meltdown" that speeds up the shark and deals a lot of damage. He can also eat red jellyfish like his normal version.	5,000 Pearls.
	38	Mecha Sharkjira	Glutwell's Secret Project has been created and known to be "Mecha Sharkjira". Glutwell is willing to destroy the hungry sharks and had a long battle encounter with one of the Hungry Shark Evolution Sharks "Sharkjira." Hungry Shark Heroes is a discontinued game that has many sharks that you breed in a coral reef, and you can battle other mobile players, and evolve, feed, and breed. Hungry Shark Heroes has the most sharks. Before its shutdown, 82 sharks had been released.

Tropical Sharks

Deep-ocean Sharks

Sharks : Hungry Shark Ball[]

Hungry Shark Ball is a discontinued game. You play as a shark with a jetpack and compete against other players, pushing a ball into the opposing team's goal to score. Each shark had its own abilities.
