Leo (Liopleurodon) is a "shark" in Hungry Shark Evolution. When fully grown he is 14 m (previously 18 meters) which is the same length as Big Daddy. He is able to break parts of the map that have blue cracks on them and dark blue icebergs in the Arctic dimension. He can be unlocked for coins once you grow Moby Dick to max level. Leo can be bought for 500,000 coins or 900 gems.Fun Fact:Both Leo And His Evil Counterpart Are Slow

Abilities

• Smash Rocks: Leo is capable of destroying cracked rocks while boosting, and newer sharks such as Nessie, Sharkjira, and Abysshark above share this ability.

• Vacuum: His boosting ability triggers a built-in mini vortex, which can help him to catch prey at a small to high radius.

On land, Leo prowls with his mouth wide open, ready to chomp up unsuspecting humans.

Appearance

Leo is a liopleurodon with a yellow back, indigo middle, and orange underbelly. Dorsal plates adorn his back, reminiscent of a stegosaurus. However, unlike the latter, liopleurodons do not possess such scales. They also possess tail flukes, which are absent in Leo's depiction.

This is a common argument going on, about which game has the better Pliosaur: World (Drago) vs Evo (Leo). Hungry Shark posted it on their Facebook and Twitter pages, making the already raging argument even more popular. Here are the traits of each shark, so you can decide for yourself.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Won't get stuck if it has to go through a tight space with a "cracked" rock
• Able to go on land with no additional health drain
• Has a built-in mini shark vortex activated by boosting
• MASSIVE bite radius.
• Relatively easy missions
• Can break rocks

Cons:

• Very expensive
• Slow speed that makes it easy to get bitten by enemy sharks which are stronger and faster than him.
• High Health Drain without The Flea
• Cannot go as fast on land compared to previous sharks such as Megalodon, Big Daddy (Dunkleosteus), Mr. Snappy (Mosasaurus), Alan, Destroyer of Worlds, and Moby Dick.

Trivia

• He is one of four sharks in the game that can get rid of Toxic Barrels and Volcanic Jets which he can do by smashing the rocks they're on.
• He is the first shark to begin with the letter 'L', while the second is being Luminite.
• Despite Moby Dick's maximum size being nearly three times Leo's maximum size, he can still be eaten, along with all other previous sharks.
• Despite being stronger than Moby Dick, he has lesser health.
• His description says he is straight outta Nublar Island, referencing Jurassic Park, because Isla Nublar is where Jurassic Park (1993), Jurassic World (2015), and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) take place.
• This shark is named after Leo, the constellation of the same name.
• Even though he is Liopleurodon, his appearance is very different from the original Liopleurodon.
• Leo is depicted as the nemesis of Moby Dick.
• When Leo was firstly released, he was the best ''shark'' by far.
• Leo's baby shark is the only "baby shark" with a different name "The Flea" instead of "Little Dickie", "Nessita" etc.

• Leo's size which is 14 m is likely not accurate, it was believed that Liopleurodons were 15-25 meters, for that to debunked. It's more recently believed that they were barely 9 or 10 - 12 meters, but the generally accepted length of a Liopleurodon nowdays is considered to be 4,9 - 7,1 or 8 meters.
• An error exists on Leo's official card released during Hungry Shark Evolution's anniversary. His icon shows Hammerhead Shark instead of himself.
