Sharkjira is a male shark added in Hungry Shark Evolution update (July 2019). He is a Kaiju-shark that can shoot Atomic Breath from his mouth and walk on two legs while on land. He has a max size of 15 (previously 25) meters, and a max health of 400 (previously 650 before the Shark Invaders update). When playing as Sharkjira, buildings appear on the beaches with the humans, which can be crushed by Sharkjira instantly (like a Megalodon destroys a boat). The large cavern rocks can also can be obliterated by this shark. Sharkjira has appeared throughout the Hungry Shark Franchise in different forms. It exists in HSE in its original state and evolved form (Magmajira) while it has appeared in HSW as Shin Sharkjira. It has two rivals, the first being Mecha Sharkjira which appears in HSW (a robotic kaiju) and the second being the Behemoth which appears in HSE.

Abilities

Unleashes a powerful Beam of Radiation

• Atomic Breath: Sharkjira possesses a primary ability that causes prey to burn upon contact and instantly kills any enemy sharks. Prey that have been burned yield double points.

Unleashes a power of exploding toxic radiation

• Toxic Waste Explosion: Sharkjira's atomic breath can cause toxic waste barrels to explode, resulting in the destruction of everything in the surrounding area and earning the player double points for any kills. This action also earns the player the "TOXIC BOOM!" accolade. To complete the "Ocean Cleanse" mission, the player must detonate 10 toxic waste barrels.

Unleashes his legs to start walking and destroy buildings towards the area

• Walk, Stomp (Destroys Buildings): Sharkjira, which bears a resemblance to Godzilla, has the ability to walk on land and destroy buildings. These structures only appear in the game when playing as Sharkjira, its evolved form Magmajira, or Behemoth.

Sharkjira is capable of breaking rocks, a feat that is shared by other sharks above Moby Dick. Sharkjira stands apart as the first shark to be able to destroy toxic barrels and walk on land. On top of that, small and huge buildings spawn only when you use Sharkjira, along with other land-based sharks such as Magmajira and Behemoth.

Appearance

Sharkjira is a big bulky shark with two rows of large protruding black spikes on his back that continues with smaller spikes near the tail, with a fin consisting of huge spikes. He appears to have blackish gray scales, while the underside having white scales with a tint of blue. Sharkjira's eyes glow a neon blue and a mouth with a cavity of similar color and large fang-like white teeth. He has two distinct fingers as claws, and three toes on each foot. When walking on land, Sharkjira heavily resembles Godzilla. He also evolves into Magmajira.

Pros:

• Very fast (In water).
• High health (400 health).
• Can destroy buildings (exclusive to Sharkjira).
• Can kill everything with its Atomic Breath. (Including stronger enemy sharks).
• When equipped with the Shark Vortex, it has a very big radius.
• (Mostly) Easy missions.
• Can kill Abysshark, Kraken, Luminite, Behemoth and Sharknarok with Atomic breath outside a gold rush.
• Immune to toxic barrels (Such as other sharks as well which are: Luminite, Moby Dick, Magmajira, Abyssaurus Rex, Behemoth, and Sharknarok).

Cons:

• It has massive health drain without Jira-Chan
• Can be more vulnerable to submarines if not facing submarines head-on.
• When equipped with Fireworks and/or jetpack it can be tricky to walk on land.
• The Shark Vortex does not work properly when Sharkjira is on land.
• Slight delay when swimming onto land.
• Such as other sharks with laser beam-like abilities, killing enemy sharks with these abilities doesn't give any points nor coins.

Tips

• Use your ability during gold rush at the right time. It can get you massive amounts of points. (And coins.)
• You should not kill a stronger enemy shark with your Atomic Breath, as it wont give you any points nor coins, just kill other prey with your Atomic Breath instead that will activate a Gold Rush.

Missions

Most of the missions are easy to complete, even without accessories or babies (Ocean Cleanse, Atomic Breath), while some missions are nearly impossible to complete (Shark Ex Machina) without accessories. Some missions are modified missions of the Big Daddy, i.e Shark Ex-Machina (Chopper Chomper), Grill Bill (Cage Crusher), and Alpha Predator (Crab Surprise).

Trivia

• Kraken, Abysshark, Luminite, Behemoth and Sharknarok even though stronger can be killed with the use of Sharkjira's Atomic Breath.
• The hardest mission that Sharkjira has is "Stomping Tantrum" by far.
• The Mission "Wreck-It-Shark" is a reference to the movie Wreck-It-Ralph.
• Sharkjira is the second shark to be released that is able to walk on land the first is Leo (Liopleurodon), and the third is Abysshark (excluding evolutions of sharkjira and abyss)
• The buildings that spawn are only unique if you play as Sharkjira. (Cases similar to this are the unique rocks which only appear when you play as Leo (Liopleurodon) and the sharks released after)
• Sharkjira is heavily inspired by Godzilla (also known as Gojira), a famous fictional prehistoric kaiju (monster) first debuted at a 1954 Japanese film that portrayed the horrors of nuclear weapons.
  • Spacifically, its bears more of an apperarence to Legendary/MonsterVerse Godzilla.
• It is the only known shark from HSE that appears formally in HSW new shark launching (mecha sharkjira launching trailer also uses Sharkjira).
