The Thresher Shark is a shark in Hungry Shark World. The Thresher Shark is the second M Tier shark and is focused on speed.

Appearance

The Thresher shark is a long-tailed shark with medium stats. He has large white eyes with slit pupils, light blue skin, white underside, and two rows of razor-sharp teeth. He also has 4 gills, black lips, and a very tall dorsal fin.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Fast and sleek; can easily avoid mines and jellyfish
• Has very low health drain speed
• Can get Gold Rush very quickly
• Cheap
• While not the best, he can do great in M only contests.
• Though low, boost is higher than Sand Shark's.
• A speedy member of his tier

Trivia

• Thresher sharks are very fast in real life. This is reflected in-game.
• Thresher has the lowest health in his tier.
• His eyes are simultaneously shown to have pupils and be completely white.
• If you count the tail, Thresher Shark is by far the biggest M shark, growing up to 20 feet (around 6 meters). This makes him even bigger than the Tiger Shark. Even the smallest species can grow up to 10 feet (around 3 meters).
• The in-game thresher resembles the Bigeye Thresher, known for his unusually large eyes.
  • However, the Thresher in Hungry Shark Heroes (which uses the same model as the Thresher in Hungry Shark World) is a Pelagic Thresher, which may mean the Thresher in Hungry Shark World is also one.
• There are 3 different modern species of thresher sharks in real life, with many more prehistoric species.
